Mountain Biker on ‘King of Masked Singer’ turned out to be iKON’s Kim Jinhwan (Jay).
On MBC ‘Masked Singer’ that aired on the 9th, ‘Dongmakgol Girl’ had her second title defense. The singers who challenged Dongmakgol Girl on getting her 3rd consecutive win included ‘Mountain Biker’, ‘Legendary Siren of the Blue Sea’, ‘Mom 500 Won Please’, and ‘You Shoot I Hoot Archery’.
‘Mountain Biker’ performed Sung Sikyung’s ‘We Make a Good Pair’. He sweetened the studio’s mood with his soft vocals. ‘Siren’ surprised the audience by powerfully performing Han Young Ae’s ‘Lucille’.
When ‘Mountain Biker’ took his mask off, he turned out to be JAY, who is iKON’s main vocal. Yoo Youngseok praised him by stating, “He showed more stable stage manners compared to round 1. His husky vocals and the way he performed were superb. He maximized his charms”.
‘Siren’ proceeded to the final stage by getting 82 votes. Kai stated, “I feel different from round 1. I first thought she’s Lee Sojung, the musical actress who starred in ‘Miss Saigon’, but not anymore. She charmed everyone in the studio and keeps surprising me”.
